Patrick Courrielche: During the 2016 Election, Donald Trump campaigned primarily on two issues. The first was immigration enforcement. But a close secondthe one that probably won him the Rust Belt, was a promise to return manufacturing to America.

Donald Trump: So, Erie, has lost nearly one in three manufacturing jobs. You know that, all I -- you do -- I flew over, you're looking at the plants, plants that 25 years ago, 20 years ago, 15 years ago - were vibrantbut you see them. They are falling over. The rain, the sleet, the snow, the wind. These are great buildings that are falling apart. Don't feel bad, all over the country.

So Erie has lost a lot. Right? You know that, right? Hang in, don't leave. I promise we can fix it so fast. We will stop these countries from taking our jobs. We will stop these countries from taking our companies. Hold on. Our jobs will come back.

Patrick: But is that possible? Can manufacturing jobs really come back to the United States?
